The state of Saudi Arabia ‘s Ministry of Hajj and Umrah reveal on Sunday the cutoff time for foreign pilgrims’ Umrah visas as it prepares to get Hajj travelers, According to reports in the Saudi Newspaper, the government has shifted the deadline for Umrah visa applications from the 29th of Dhul Qadah to the 15th of Dhul Qadah.
This initiative is part of the government’s efforts to facilitate a smooth pilgrimage experience for individuals traveling from around the globe to the sacred cities of Makkah and Madinah during the annual Hajj pilgrimage.
Furthermore, the ministry clarified that the validity of the three-month Umrah visa will now commence from the date of issuance, rather than from the day of entry into Saudi Arabia. This explanation is in response to several questions through Twitter, X’s former name.
The ministry expresses that the Umrah visa has a three month validity period from the date of issuance , as long as it terminates before 15 before Dhul Qadah.
This is according to the plans created by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah. As per the Ministry’s statement, “The decision to set Dhul Qadah 15 as the new deadline was made two weeks (14 days) prior to the previously announced expiration date of Dhul Qadah 29.”
